ARIS is an introductory seminar providing a brief overview of the demands and responsibilities for anyone considering a career in the trades. Topics include trade descriptions, apprenticeship options, employment requirements, jobsite expectations, and the advantages to belonging to a skilled trade Union.
Upcoming Dates: Monday, December 12th, 2022 and Monday, January 9th, 2022
Location: 11055 48 STREET SE, Calgary, AB
Time: Doors open at 9:30 a.m., Seminar starts at 10:00 a.m.
Please bring your government issued Photo ID, Social Insurance Card (SIN) and contact information for personal and work references.
To be eligible for employment, you must be able to:
- work in a physically demanding environment
- follow direction
- work under pressure
- communicate well, both verbally and written, in the English language
- work collaboratively in a team environment
- travel around Alberta including Fort McMurray for employment
Candidates must be:
- 18 years or older
- A Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
After registering, you will receive a link to a free study guide to help prepare you for the Essential Skills Assessment (ESA) which will be scheduled after the Seminar.
