With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team in either our Camarillo, California, New Castle, Delaware or Mississauga, Canada office (Hybrid)! In this role you’ll be designing and building automation features with a focus on user experience and user/script performance, as well as implementing and maintaining CI, CD. The main duties include analyses of requirements, coding following team standards, conducting code reviews, writing, and testing SQL, C#/JavaScript or Kotlin/Java components, and integrating them in Azure DevOps. This role requires passion for problem-solving, high-quality software and engineering principles.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coding in C#/JavaScript or Kotlin/Java and SQL. Follows all established procedures and best practices.
- Performs unit testing to confirm code is working properly.
- Create and maintain scalable automation pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Responsible for automated feature design within the application design process, making recommendations on the selected test type approach for the high impact areas (in partnership with the rest of the Software Engineer team).
- Ensures all results of testing and configurations are properly integrated into Azure DevOps.
- Performs Integration Testing to ensure components are functioning properly as needed.

- Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
- Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager, Software QA
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and work experience, required.
- 3-5 years of experience required that includes the following:
- Kanban or SCRUM agile methodology
- Building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Building Cloud based applications and infrastructure
- Proficiency with C#/JavaScript or Kotlin/Java and SQL
Salary Range (applicable to California):
$100,000 - $143,750 annual base salary
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to split large features into smaller work items
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud based multi-tiered web app development and extensive work experience.
- Must be able to pay close attention to details.
