We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Special Order Parts Person. This is a Full-Time, Regular position for our Airdrie dealership in Alberta.
The Special Order Parts is primarily responsible for identifying and sourcing special order parts. You will work closely with manufacturers, Service Parts Counter, Parts Counter, and our customers.

JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of parts orders within the guidelines of company policies and procedures and by checking parts availability
- Follow all special order and work order processes outlined by the dealership
- Follow up with all special-order parts to ensure parts have been ordered and installed efficiently
- Verify prices and enter orders into the computer
- Analyze customer requests for parts; provide parts information and prices from service manuals, reference materials and computer
- Ability to provide substituted parts information for obsolete/upgraded parts based on experience and outstanding orders
- Assist in returns of defective parts ordered by any special-order parts staff
- Assist in researching price quotes, ordering parts, and driving to pick up parts
- Assist the receiving team with Quality Control inspections on all SOP.
- Responsible for following up on back orders by checking with other parts personnel and sources to determine the status of orders and provide answers to customers as well as provide updated ETA's and communicate accordingly
- Establish a good relationship with distributors, manufacturers, dealers, service centers and consumers to notify them of parts availability and shipment dates determined by tracking orders and/or invoices through the computer system
- Contacting suppliers
- Contacting external customers and internal dealership staff
- Get creative and exhausted all options to sell off Obsolete Inventory
- Any other items, as directed by the Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of RV parts
- Good keyboard skills
- Works well under pressure
- Works well in a team environment
- Brings a good attitude to work
- Good accuracy at what they order
- Really cares about our customers and understands the importance of getting our SO parts in both accurately and in a timely fashion
- Secondary education and/or RV-related experience
- Strong computer skills required
- Good knowledge of mechanical/electrical parts
- Team leadership
- Special Order Parts (an asset)
- RV industry experience (an asset)
