Mountview Services Inc is a premier full-service landscaping solutions company in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock and surrounding areas! We are currently looking to expand our team for our winter snow management operations! This is a full-time permanent opportunity that will transition into our Lawn Mowing services in the spring. We are looking for driven individuals with a passion who enjoy a fun, team-focused environment! No experience is required as at Mountview Services we have the training expertise to make you a landscaping pro!

Key Duties and responsibilities of these positions:

• The operation of motor vehicles is used to transport personal and equipment from site to site.
• Application of snow and ice melts as well as brine pre-treatments.
• Attention to detail as quality is our specialty.
• Ability to complete heavy or repetitive work.
• Install and takedown festive winter lights.
• Snow and ice removal, both machine-aided and by hand.
• Minor routine maintenance of equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to read and write English.
• Valid G or G2 class driver's license.
• Safety oriented.
• Openness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Some formal horticulture education is an asset.

Compensation:

These positions offer many forms of compensation Including a competitive wage starting at $18.00 an hour that takes experience and certifications into account. We also offer a Company Benefits plan that includes dental, and prescription drug coverage. We offer a team environment that is designed to help you succeed by offering further training and support programs for further education. This position will also be eligible to participate in a company-matched RRSP program to help you prepare for your future!

Environment:

These positions work outdoors with varying hours and weather conditions depending on the season. Here at Mountview Safety is our highest priority thus successful candidates will be safety-oriented. This position will interact with clients. A high level of customer service and conscientious work ethic is required
