Site Supervisor:

Key Duties and Responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following :

· Responsible for managing and scheduling work crews efficiently, ordering materials, assist in ordering supplies and tools for the concrete and drain operations.

· Conduct daily morning meetings with the foremen to coordinate work.

· Develop and maintain a positive working relationship and open communication with the Builder’s representatives to ensure work is completed on time, according to the Builder’s schedule and, in accordance with our cost estimates.

· Review and check daily reports. Monitor work progress, production, labor hours, materials and equipment used and, compare against the job estimates. Identify and report back on a daily basis any variance, overruns, change of scope or any other change found in comparison to the job estimates. This information is required for cost control and to identify and claim extras to contract.

· Visit jobsites check and verify for job readiness before committing work crews to the project.

· Visit jobsites and carry out random inspections on the work being carried out by our work forces. Check for correctness, quality, overruns, waste, repairs, etc.

· Ensure any defects/issues encountered are resolved and rectified on a timely manner.

· Ensure work is done right the first time and in accordance with the scope of our contract

· Assist in preparing scope of work, review with foreman and provide copy prior to project start.

· Follow up with company foremen and the builder site representatives to ensure work is inspected and accepted by the governing authorities and, the Builder.

· Develop and maintain a respectful and positive working relationship with our workers, our office staff, the customer, site supervisors, builders, inspectors, other trades, union representatives, safety consultants, suppliers, and all other entities we may deal with during the course of conducting our business.

· Record on a daily basis the contract work completed.

· Record on a daily basis the extras, upgrades, PPO’s completed.

· Work together with our accounts receivable staff to ensure all contract and extra work is invoiced on time (as per terms of contract), invoices are delivered on time and, the proper supporting documents such as Completions slips, PPO, field PO’s, etc. are attached as back up as per the requirements of our contract. Review and check billing reports to ensure all work completed on the project has been invoiced.

· Ensure all company Health and Safety policies and procedures and MOL regulations for construction projects are followed on a daily basis by all crews.

· Ensure all workers are up to date with health and safety training and they carry with them the proper documentation to show proof.

· Help promote and maintain a healthy work environment.

· Work together with our safety consultant in reporting accidents, accident investigation, implementing modified work programs and, the return to work of the injured worker.

· Attend safety meetings, job meetings, meetings with our workers, general meetings, builders meetings and, all other meetings as necessary and required by the company.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
