The Position:

The Shipping Associate is a vital part of our production team, a team that works diligently to assemble dampers and louvers for our Canada-wide client base.

The Shipping Associate schedules packages and creates bills of ladings for our outgoing products. This is a physical position, you get to build skids!

Job Duties

• Might be required to schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents.
• Packaging: to include crating, shrink wrapping, boxing & strapping of finished products to be shipped.
• Able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to for each piece of equipment being worked on as well as all appropriate personal protective equipment and guards are in place
• Maintain shipping/receiving area is clean and clear of hazards.
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Previous Forklift experience is required
• G license (Drivers Licence)
• Experience with Tools: power saws, staple guns, and strapping equipment.
• Attentive to detail, accuracy, well organized, follow direction, co-operative, willing to assist others in a team environment.
• Solid communication skills, able to communicate in a loud production factory environment;
• Computer Competency (will be using shipping software)
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
