About the role:

Rycor is an engineering company at its core and is on a mission to build the best engineering team to enable our new breakthrough platform and automations. We are looking for a strong C# / .NET Developer to join our small but focused platform development team and be part of an early chapter in our next story. You would be responsible for designing and implementing new platform features, as well as architecting efficient solutions for our teams.

Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of building scalable systems, a strong sense of ownership, and enjoys owning projects from inception to scaling it in production. Own your platform from the beginning.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate on the next generation of Rycor’s architecture and contribute to the discussion and implementation of complex projects.
• Own solving problems end-to-end across a variety of systems and services, in close collaboration with other engineers on your team
• Continuously improve our core platform, tools, and systems that allow us to scale products, efficiency, and the team.
• Develop software using C#, micro-service architecture, MS-SQL, SOAP / REST based services, EF Core and ASP.NET Core and work with CICD, TFS, and other dev tools.

Who you are:

• 4-6 years of practical experience developing .NET software using C# and Visual Studio
• Good knowledge of object oriented principles and patterns
• Understanding of micro service architecture
• Comfortable designing ERDs, stored procedures and working in complex SQL syntax
• Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
• You believe in the craft of software engineering

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with Blazor
• Experience with modern web frameworks and understand web fundamentals
• Know accounting concepts or have experience in the financial industry
