For this position, candidates must meet the minimum requirements below and as stated in the application questions:

• Ability to obtain Saskatchewan license (need to complete security course and provide a CRC)

• Ability to provide a negative drug and alcohol test prior to onboarding, annually and post incident

• Must have or be enrolled in OHS first aid/ CPR C/AED

• They need boots that are complaint for site ( $200 reimbursement after passing probation)

• Ability to work shift work (days, nights weekends)

• Must be 18 years of age to access the Mosaic mines

• Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
• Belle Plaine guards must obtain TDG course (provided by the company)

• Belle Plaine guards must obtain their drug and alcohol collection technician certificate (provided by the company)

Employment duration: Full-Time / Part-Time

Location: Halifax , Esterhazy & Colonsay

Compensation package: $22.00 / hour

Duties:

• Successful candidates will need to be able to obtain a provincial Security license, as well as a clear criminal record and be able to pass extensive background screening
• Successful Candidates must be willing to work 12 hr night shifts, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be willing to perform a variety of duties including: sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time; complete detailed incident reports; respond to alarms, threats and other emergencies; provide customer service; provide access control to restricted areas

Skills Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
• Ability to exercise vigilance and multi task is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)
• Proficient in using technology
• Experience in proper search techniques.
• Ability to effectively generate all relevant shift reports and distribute in a timely manner
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English
• Computer skills and Microsoft use experience an asset
• Customer service skills an asset

• Security Guard Experience in Saskatchewan

• Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, patrol for extended periods of time ( 8-12 hours)
• Must be comfortable with working in both outdoors (when necessary) and indoors
