Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Security Agent (night) for our office located in 7111 Rue Cordner, Lasalle, QC. The person selected will be responsible to monitor and control entrance of trucks and patrol the yard to enforce safety and security rules are always respected.

Detailed Job Description:

• Controls access of trucks and drivers on the yard at the entrance cabin, validates information and inputs all information and reports into system; (reason of presence, Drivers license, truck number, trailer number, etc).
• Ensures drivers are wearing proper protective equipment (vest, steel toe boots).
• Patrol Facility to monitor and verify seals on trailers, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, fence safety, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons or person not wearing proper protective equipment, unsafe conditions, hazards and fire protection devices.
• Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, premises, emergencies or abnormal activities.
• Provide excellent customer service, observe and report activities and incidents, and provide security and safety of property, assets and personnel.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems and with video monitoring software; use of communication systems to report and inform on relevant situation.
• Protects and gather evidence or scene of incident in the event of police intervention.

Skills and Requirements:

• High school level with at least 1-2 years as a security guard/agent or relevant experience.
• Valid drivers license (if intervention required at another warehouse)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suit.
• Security clearance certification is a plus.
• Reliable, mature, autonomous and resourceful
• Bilingual (French, English). The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues throughout North America.
