We are currently recruiting for for a Rail Car Loader.

Key responsibilities will include cleaning rail cars, working with hand and power tools, vessel entry, and confined space work.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory Compliance.
• Ensure company regulatory, safety, environmental, security and health procedures/policies are adhered to.
• Perform routine manual operational activities: non-automated valve switching, blowdown liquid in tank cars, product temperature readings, corrosion samples,
• Weekly Checks. Perform non-routine/non-emergency support such as: procedure/drawing/training material support, removing or returning equipment from/to service, JSEA forms. Prepare tank car rack and equipment for maintenance following the appropriate isolation and LOTO procedures.
• Operate the rack in a controlled, safe, efficient and reliable manner utilizing manuals and procedures.
• Adhere to Plant protocols.
• Ensure adequate handover and communication of critical operational information at shift change to the relief loader.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Chemical Production & Power Engineering (CPET) or a Power Engineering Technology program is required
• 3 years experience in plant operations is preferred
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Rules/Requirements is required
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be mechanically inclined

Wages: $31.49/hour.
