You will join our Environment & Health department
As our new Project Manager in Industrial Emissions Control Systems Engineering, you will be part of our interdisciplinary Ontario-based team serving clients across Canada and globally. You will work with all levels of expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job tasks.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Industrial emissions control systems project management
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
- Field evaluations of emissions from industrial processes and equipment and their existing local exhaust ventilation systems
- Process and/or mechanical engineering to support the design of ventilation hoods, combined ductwork systems, and air pollution control systems
- Developing pressure drop models to support the design of ductwork system and fan specifications
- Writing specifications for air pollution control systems
- Contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations and client meetings
- Mentoring and developing junior level staff and collaboration with colleagues throughout the Practice.

- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering
- Experience with Industrial Emissions Control Systems
- Ability to manage technically complex projects
- Successful business development history
- Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong field skills
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to obtain or already have a P.Eng. designation in Canada.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience as above including proposal writing, report writing, project management and client development skills
