Project Manager
This opportunity supports the Digital Farming Solutions (DFS) team with projects ranging from medium to high complexity including enabling the customer journey for our field teams by implementing best practices in our CRM tool, providing thought leadership around the changes that need to be made to our CRM tool, as well as farmer and dealer engagement in the FieldView product to support future new business models. Be accountable for planning, managing and leading all aspects of the projects ensuring business objectives and implementation, regulatory and legal requirements are satisfied. This position is critical for continued engagement in the FieldView platform as well new business models by ensuring the correct data, systems, processes and procedures are in place.
Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a permanent position ideally based in either Calgary, Alberta or Guelph, Ontario.
What you will do:
- Assesses project requests with initiators and provides technical, cost, timeline and customer service implications
- Organizes project teams utilizing cross-functional resources for assigned projects. Obtains agreement from line management on team resource, expectations and performance for team members
- Generates and communicates detailed project plans and timelines based on project objectives, success criteria, scope and deliverables ensuring cross-functional and third-party input is captured and projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Leads cross-functional teams, tracking progress against the project plan. Identifies risks and contingencies and communicates progress to stakeholders
- Manages project team meetings, prepares agendas, assigns action items and issues minutes
- Communicates up-front objectives, prioritizes projects, and identifies technical, logistical, and commercial engineering requirements.
Identifies root causes and corrective actions for project deviations, including facilitating problem resolution
Who you are:
- University degree, or MBA (PMP is an asset)
- 5 years' experience managing multiple large projects at the same time, working with different stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership/facilitation, decision-making, process management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflict-management skills, risk management, and written and oral communication.
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Experience developing business cases
- Experience in electronic digital asset management and document workflow tools
