This is a Summer Student position; the term will run from April/Mid-May until the beginning of September. These positions are reserved for ONLY students who will be attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall.

The Position

We are currently recruiting for both our Weld and Stamping departments, these roles differ so make sure to read both descriptions below.

As a Weld Production Associate you will be part of the process that produces high quality parts for our customer including completion of our final product. The essential job duties include loading the machine with parts, inspecting the quality of completed parts and basic preventative maintenance inside of the well cell. As a Weld Associate you will work both independently and as part of a team.

As a Stamping Production Associate you will be part of the process which produces high quality parts for our customer by supporting the weld line with the production of our main stampings. The essential job duties include operating the press, completing quality checks, stacking and loading parts into bins, and material handling (opportunity to become Forklift and/or Overhead Crane Certified). As a Stamping Associate you will work closely with a small team to maintain the effective operation of a press.

The shifts for this position are scheduled on a two week rotation between days and afternoons.

Your Qualifications

• You are a detail oriented individual who understands the concept and importance of quality
• Ideally your background involves experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• You are enrolled in a post secondary program this coming fall
• You are able to lift up to 25lbs (Weld)/40lbs (Stamping) with regularity
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
• You are familiar with computers and confident in your ability to learn new software
• You have a positive attitude and enjoy working at a fast-pace!

Afternoon Shift Premium: $0.64

Midnight Shift Premium: $0.82
