Duties and responsibilities:

• Negotiate programs, pricing and position with suppliers
• Develop and manage position statements, and reports predominantly in MS Excel
• Communicate programming, pricing, supply and product features to retail staff
• Work with retails on diligent inventory management
• Facilitate business builder tactics that drive the business
• Create positive working relationships with staff and suppliers
• Promote product stewardship with staff and customers
• Present at employee and customer meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in agriculture, specifically in crop inputs.
• Experience in supply chain management is an asset
• Strong business acumen and attention to detail
• Demonstrated strong analytical and MS Excel experience
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently. A “Go-Getter”
• Strong teamwork, communication and sales skills
• Diploma or degree in a related discipline, preferably in agriculture or business
• Ability to travel
