Within the Upgrading Automation Team, you will gain valuable experience in process automation engineering from working closely with Engineers and Engineers-in-Training who will provide you mentorship and guidance.
Minimum Requirements:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate process, chemical, electrical or computer engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution

You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Skills in the preparation and presentation of technical documents and professional reports

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Responsibilities:

Partner with team members to actively maintain our process control systems and supporting infrastructure

Prepare and communicate performance reports with recommendations
-
Actively participate in developing timely resolution of issues and requests for information

Develop and implement a lifecycle strategy for our control systems
-
Facilitate initiatives to drive continuous improvement of our processes

Build and provide commissioning and start up support for new projects

This is an 8 or 12-month work term starting in May 2023

You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
