Job Description:

Go Powder Inc (GPI) is actively recruiting an individual who is a high performer, accountable and professional. This position will be on an evaluation basis during a 3-month evaluation period. Go Powder is an equal opportunity employer.

Position: Powder Coater

Experience Required: Wage will commensurate based on experience and abilities.

Skills Required;

· Ability to follow direction in a team environment, must be reliable.

· Knowledge of powder coating systems not required, willing to train the right person who has the aptitude to learn various elements of the powder coating system.

· Must be able to lift 60 lbs, the position requires lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching above/below shoulders, all in a hot work environment.

· Troubleshooting skills, ability to learn and adjust.

· Excellent eye-hand coordination, attention to detail and handle all product with care to avoid damage.

· Forklift experience would be ideal, alternatively we can train in-house.

MUST:

· Hold safety in a high regard, work safely following GPI Safe Work Practices, Procedures and Policies.

· Be able to read and speak English and follow customer work orders.

· Maintain a high level of quality workmanship.

· Hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.

· Have CSA approved steel toed boots.

· Have own (reliable) transportation – transit does not run into this Industrial Subdivision.

· Be willing to learn other areas of the company to maintain a skill balance.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
