DESCRIPTION – BOX TRUCK OPERATOR servicing customers in Calgary and surrounding communities picking up and dropping off drums and collecting plastic bags and 5 gallon pales. Preference given to individuals who have experience doing pickup and delivery work within the city of Calgary with a reference.

REQUIREMENTS

Those offered the job must:

• Have a current Class 5 License must be off GDL
• Must have Q endorsement (air ticket)
• Be physically fit and ready for physical labor
• Provide a clean driver abstract (must be insurable)
• Arrive at work on schedule and fit for duty
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship

$ WAGE $

Starting wage is 5000.00 month (20 days)

$69.00 per day = $1380.00/month LOA (subsistence non taxable)

DAYS AND HOURS

Monday to friday 6:00am - 5:00pm (variable)

TRAINING & SAFETY WORK WEAR

- Ongoing training for safety and job duties is provided.

- Protective clothing and equipment are provided as is image wear.

- Allowances are paid for coveralls and steel-toed boots for this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect and disperse 45 gal drums to customers, pick up bags of empty plastic containers and empty 5 gallon pales and offload into a 53' dry van trailer.

The driver follows all safety, encouraging and demonstrating safe practices and company policies and procedures.

PHYSICALLY ACTIVE

· Roll 45g drums when full
