Our client is located in a town just 30-minutes outside of London. It is a great community pharmacy that is dedicated to their customers. This pharmacy has gotten nothing but great reviews from our other candidates who have worked there.
We are looking for an excellent Pharmacist to fill a full-time Staff Pharmacist role at one of our top client’s pharmacies. You will be working 40 hours per week on a rotating schedule. On weekdays, the shift times are either 9AM – 5PM, 10AM – 6PM or 1PM – 9PM. The candidate will be asked to work one weekend every 3-4 weeks. The hours on Saturdays are 9AM – 6PM and on Sunday from 10AM – 4PM. There are many excellent benefits available including a health & dental plan, life insurance, long-term disability, 3-weeks vacation and RRSP matching contribution of 4%. The candidate can opt out of the plan to increase their hourly rate. The successful candidate must have at least 1-year community experience as a Pharmacist. They also must be willing to work at the client’s location in London, as well. Employee parking spot is available. You will be compensated up to $56/hr.

As a Pharmacist, your duties may include:
- Checking prescriptions to ensure proper dosage
- Calculating, measuring, and mixing the quantities of prescribed drug and other ingredients
- Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers and communicating dosage amount, adverse effects and other important indications
- Advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription drugs
- Maintaining medication profiles of customers
- Ordering and maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
- Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Injection Certification is considered an asset
- Experience with pharmacy systems, specifically Kroll, is an asset
- A minimum of 1-year experience in a community pharmacy setting
- Must be willing to work at the clients’ location in London as well
- High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail
