Agrisan Inc. is one of the largest, Canadian-owned manufacturers of Specialty Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals.

Packaging Aide

Core Functions: Support with Filling, Labeling and Packaging of Products.

Responsibilities:

• Boxing/packaging product, applying labels, loading/stacking product to skids.
• Clean and maintain the equipment and immediate work area throughout the shift.
• Extended periods of time focused on manual tasks, requiring care and attention to avoid injury to self or others.
• Assist in the operations of various filling/packaging equipment as required including basic trouble shooting skills.
• Assist in the operation of other ancillary equipment as required such as pumps and weighing scales.
• Able to perform cleaning/sanitization of the equipment and area as per SOPs.
• Complete relevant documentation completely and accurately.
• Strictly adheres to GMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience)

• Minimum of Ontario Secondary diploma or equivalent.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to follow written procedures and complete accurate documentation.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and a proven commitment to excellent product quality.
• Capable of lifting and meeting the physical demands of this position, including extended periods of standing, reaching and lifting.

Salary:
$17-18 per hour
