Overview of Dogtopia

Dogtopia is the leading dog daycare and dog over night boarding brand. We accommodate dogs of all sizes. We are currently looking for an overnight boarding attendant to watch over our dogs and clean and prep the facility for open the next day. Interested applicants must be highly detail oriented, energetic and motivated with a passion for pets.

Job Summary

• We are looking for passionate dog lovers with previous experience in an animal field. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in dog body language and understands how to build trust with animals. This position is ideal for a confident and naturally calm and assertive person with a strong attention to detail.
• The ideal candidate has worked or volunteered with animals. Confidence and knowledge about dogs is a must in order to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deep cleaning facility
• Tending to dogs of all sizes
• Shifts are 10pm-6am

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Overnight Shift (required)
• Night Shift (preferred)
• Day Shift (preferred)
