We are currently looking for experienced Well Servicing Operator to support our business in the area of Esterhazy, SK.

Summary:

The Operator has worked their way up through Floorhand and Derrickhand positions to become acquainted with the equipment and well servicing procedures. Through observation in these positions and previous experience as an Operator you will be able to deal with all phases of the basic changes in procedure that are necessary and in meeting emergencies as they arise.

In this position you will need to exercise patience and perseverance, while training crew and ensure optimum safe performance of all duties of the crew. Becoming familiar with the BOP system and ascertaining the operating position of the BOP’s when coming on shift, responsible for conducting drills in evacuation, BOP, firefighting, spill response and man down, organizing crew and providing transportation of rig crew to and from location in a safe manor, adhering to company policies, maintaining a close liaison and adhering to proper procedures with the rig manager and crew, ensuring that the equipment and operations conform to government regulations and maintaining crew morale.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow established safe work procedures and operating policies
• Maintain all boiler equipment
• Monitor service delivery (servicing, repair and operation)
• Due diligence and reporting as required or requested
• Clean up after each repair and maintenance job
• Report all events and incidents and help in the overall solution to problems

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum Class 5 driver’s license and a current Drivers Abstract with 6 demerits or less (airbreak endorsement or more would be ideal)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Training certificates required will be discussed with recruiter
