In the Onboarding and internal transfer department at Edward Jones, you’ll focus on creating the ideal client and branch experience. The department is a combination of three groups, New Accounts, Retirement and Estate. In New Accounts, we partner with branch teams and internal stakeholders to optimize the client onboarding experience and streamline maintenance while reducing risk. Team activities include account onboarding and maintenance document processing, power of attorney review and onboarding oversight functions. We exist to support Qualified Plan account opening paperwork processing, investigations of Salesforce tickets related to Asset Movement/Trading within Retirement Accounts, Daily Exception Reports providing Oversight to Retirement Accounts to ensure accurate Tax Reporting and review of new regulatory rules that apply to Retirement Accounts at Edward Jones. Estate Operations is responsible identifying, protecting, and re-registering ownership of deceased clients' assets through various systems. This includes reviewing legal documents, transferring assets, charging appropriate processing fees, submitting death redemptions, and working various Estates reports (trust back-up withholding report, loan report, SWPS report)

- High level of attention to detail while processing routine activities. Adhering to guidelines while verifying that documents are complete and accurate.
- Maintains performance standards and expectations while increasing contribution to department initiatives.
- Ability to work through challenging tasks to bring timely and accurate solutions
- Effectively use knowledge and resources to ensure processing is compliant with regulations and current policies
- Retain knowledge of several systems and processing guidelines
- Ability to promote a positive, team environment with a focus on client service
- Assists the department in identifying trends for the purpose of simplifying procedures and creating efficiencies for branch teams and home office
- Gain a high level expertise on the processes we drive through continued training
- Work solo and as a team to meet department, division and firm goals
- Provide fellow associates and branch offices with easy access to information, friendly partnership, and reliable solutions
- Work within the department and assist different teams
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Familiarity with Excel, data entry, and data analysis
- Strong customer service and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills
- Strong decision making skills
- Ability to accept and adjust to change
- Strong work ethic and desire to work and excel in the financial industry
- Organizational skill and time management skills
- Must be able to multi-task and follow-up appropriately to take issues to resolution. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and quickly learn and apply new information
