Oilfield Service Technician
The Oilfield Service Technician is integral to Ketek’s operations and is essential in assuring client retention through the provision of hands-on customer service. The Oilfield Service Technicians' responsibilities include traveling to customers' locations, remotely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Take instruction from Project Manager and/or Dispatch to ensure tasks are completed in a safe manner.
· Install, troubleshoot, and demobilize Ketek equipment for the benefit of the client and providing instructions on the proper usage of the item.
· Use, clean, and maintain the different tools required at the worksite.
· Complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Qualifications
· Oilfield and/or Construction experience
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
· Able to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fort St. John, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- oil and gas: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- class 5 (preferred)
