We are looking for an office cleaner to support the Service Canada Office. The shift is Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Cleaning Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and sanitize all public and staff entrance door glass, door frames and hardware daily
• Clean door thresholds daily
• Vacuum all entrance and office carpeting daily
• Sweep and mop hard floors daily
• Clean and sanitize all public area service counters, desks, cubicles, meeting rooms, seating areas, phones, and information areas daily
• Clean and sanitize all Security stations
• Clean, dust and sanitize service counter staff work areas including countertops, desks, partitions, touchpoints, and chairs
• Clean and sanitize all staff washrooms-toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, soap, paper and hygiene dispensers, partitions, vents and doors
• Clean and sanitize the staff lunchroom including counters, sinks, fridge, toasters, microwave, tables, chairs, garbage and recycle stations
• Empty all garbage and recycle from offices, boardrooms, washrooms, lunchrooms, and public areas daily

Successful applicants will be able to meet the following requirements:

• Qualified applicants must have a clean criminal record
• Qualified applicants will be required to have a security clearance background check for reliability status to be able to work in a federal office. All forms and fees for criminal record checks are provided by Dexterra.
• Office cleaning experience is preferred, but training will be provided for specific cleaning requirements.
• Follow all company and client safety and security procedures at all times
• Detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks
