JOB SUMMARY
The Office Assistant/Receptionist will be responsible for providing admin support and fulfilling the duties of the main reception desk.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet clients entering the building, determine purpose of visit, and direct appropriately.
- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail/correspondence.
- Answer incoming calls and emails, respond to inquiries, and direct as required.
- Assist with the scheduling for tutoring, coaching, and psycho-educational & autism assessments for clients.
- Ensure proper maintenance of common office equipment.
- Order general office and kitchen supplies.
- Oversee the access to the building.
- Assist with the proctoring of GED tests.
- Assist with the preparation of board packages.
- Support staff and other admin staff in other locations when required.
- Receive and process payments and upload documentation.
- Assist with the LDAS website maintenance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Successful completion of a Business Administration diploma or certificate.
- A minimum of 1 year of administrative and reception experience.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with various software applications.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Highly organized.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and have access to a reliable vehicle would be desirable.
- Ability to provide a valid Criminal and Vulnerable Sector check.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
