Office Assistant Job at Simcoe Foot Care & Custom Orthotic Centre
Applicant must have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task with paying attention to detail and have excellent phone, computer, written and verbal communication skills. This position also requires an A1 personality, friendly, professional and caring with solid customer service
Duties include:
- Reprocessing of the medical instruments for sterilization and keeping the sterilization records up to date
- Light receptionist duties including scheduling, updating records and balancing til and handling all duties associated with the front desk in the event of vacation coverage or absenteeism, including but not limited to greeting patients, telephone contact and triage;
- Restocking of product and ordering, shipping and receiving of product, this includes tracking of the orthotic and footwear products and arranging for dispensing to patients.
- Keeping the office clean and tidy: daily collection of garbage, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, staff and bathroom cleaning and washing floors, windows etc...
- Keeping the equipment maintenance binder up to date, sending equipment for maintenance & yearly inspection, preparing and restocking examination rooms and instrument/emergency kits.
- Assisting with collection of patient medical history information and updating charts while assigning patients to treatment rooms for the Chiropodist. Cleaning patient treatment rooms after treatment and restocking units in preparation for next patient.
This applicant must have office experience and be reliable, a good communicator and able to work in a team environment. This position is offered as a part time however has potential for full time hours.

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
