Marketing Manager Job at OPPOSITEHAND Design Inc.
My small woodworking business (which specialises in custom bedframes) is looking to hire on a Marketing Manager / lead to help oversea the development, implementation or various marketing / social avenues. Right now I only use Etsy ads to generate sales which is going well, however I am hoping to double my monthly sales so I can hire one or two shop hands.

98% of my clientd are from the USA as shipping a bed from Vancouver Island to Calgary is as costly as shipping a bed to Florida. I capitalize on the dollar difference and the shipping is cheaper when in the USA. The average cost of a bed is $4500 USD.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, or hiring the necessary professionals to set up a facebook account, shopify store, etc.
- Create a marketing plan. Run advertisements within these social avenues
- Implement the marketing plan.
- Track and analyze the marketing campaign's effectiveness.
- Find ways to get the word out about the product, including through social media.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis
- Etc.
Basically I need a marketing professional to provide a recommendation on what avenue is most feasible to generate more sales for the business given that we only use a single channel currently. Note that with such a high valued furnishing we do not need 100 sales a month. We are literally hoping to go from 12 sales a month to 24-30. This position is not full time, it is based on hourly input per month which is necessary to ensure consistant flow of sales.
