Marketing Manager Job at InterContinental Hotels Group
- Assist in the development and implementation innovative, hotel specific, public relations, social media and marketing strategies to support Hotel’s objectives.
- Works with Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.
- Develop, implement and manage hotel’s social media strategy
- Manage and oversee Social Media content and measure the success of every social media campaign
- Work with Director of Sales and Marketing and Revenue Manager to review analytics to measure success/failure of campaigns.
- Collaborates with Revenue Management to verify correct offer loading, verifying advertisement targeting is correctly directed at relevant consumer groups
- Support SEO strategies by understanding keyword priorities and how they integrate into content marketing plans
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Assist in quarterly Hotel Content Manager refresh, specifically offering SEO keyword recommendations for brand photo captions and GDS marketing messages
- Use social media marketing tools
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Develop relationships with media, public relations agencies, department suppliers and other outside companies in the development of programs to meet marketing and communications objectives.
- Review, advertising, print and other media for the hotel. Work with advertising agencies, consulting firms and vendors to maximize advertising investments and ensure ads represent brand identity and are appropriate for target audience.
- Develop media contacts and database, plan press conferences and other press activities.
- Evaluate sponsorship and solicitation requests including manage on-ground activation of sponsored events
Prepare and respond to guest and public issues in collaboration with General Manager, DOS and Corporate Affairs. - Manage the execution of hotel sponsored events, community/government relations activities, and press promotional activities.
- Manages photo shoots for seasonal or festive promotions
- Regularly update hotel, restaurant and third-party websites including website’s press page.
- Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
- Design, coordinate and distribute press kits including monitor and maintain supply of sales collateral.
- Resolve requests and/or complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied clients.
