The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years experience managing a marketing function
  • Extremely organized, and able to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
  • Experience with the following tools is preferred: HubSpot, Hootsuite, Adobe, Canva
  • Experience within the supply chain industry is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in driving in-person/virtual meetings – both internal and external
  • Prior success in qualifying and leading small/medium growth opportunities
  • Ability to follow a solutions (sales) process and track progress on accompanying sales pipeline
  • Experience reporting to Senior Leadership
  • Quality driven
  • Strong PowerPoint/Presentation skills

Responsibilities


Marketing

  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage all events
    • Internal (i.e. employee trainings, staff appreciation events)
    • External (i.e. tradeshows, conferences); includes choosing shows to attend, registering, promoting, attending, and all set-up/working of the show itself
  • Social Media
    • Content Development, scheduling, and tracking
    • Interacting with network
  • Website
    • Suggest improvements for website, including writing of copy
    • Work with external agency to make adjustments to website as necessary
  • Sales & Marketing Collateral
    • Development and management of all collateral (i.e. digital brochures, PowerPoint decks, blog posts)
    • Order and manage all company promotional product (i.e. SWAG)
    • Develop and update employee signatures as needed
  • Brand Management
    • Ensure proper use of company brand standards, including colours, font, logo, copy, etc.
  • Communications
    • Internal (communication with employees); including company surveys, new service announcements, keeping log of staff contact information
    • External
      • PR Management (write and distribute press releases), develop relationship with applicable associations and publications
    • Manage relationship with external marketing agency

Client Solutions

  • Manage company CRM (HubSpot)
    • Log and keep track of all companies, contacts, and opportunities for all stakeholders
    • Run weekly reports and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Create all formal rate quotes for Freight Logistics Services
  • RFI/RFQ/RFP formal response development as needed
  • Manage Company prospecting tool, and perform additional lead development as needed
  • Attend sales meetings, take minutes, and log updates in company CRM
  • Presentation creation and management (capabilities, current state, future state, operational discovery sessions) as required
  • Assist with creation of Monthly Business Review decks for all 4PL customers

Other

  • Conduct research on relevant organizations and/or industry topics
  • Manage and promote LinkedIn Job Postings
  • Assist with Cedric Millar Academy- professional development initiatives.
    • Attend and assist with all company lean trainings, including development of applicable PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist company President with ad-hoc requests as needed
