The Opportunity
As a student in our Legal, Governance and Communications team, you will have the unique opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of work that ranges from knowledge management (including data governance, privacy), corporate governance, legal work to sustainability/ESG related matters. This opportunity will allow you to gain insight into corporate legal and governance, internal and external communication while growing your professional network, industry knowledge and gaining on-the-job experience.
Work Term: 4 Month Term - May 1, 2023 - August 31, 2023

Key Responsibilities
- Provide research and analytical support on legal, governance and privacy related projects
- Work with corporate paralegal on corporate governance matters and prepare research memos on legal issues as needed
- Assist with conducting an analysis of digital information and developing record management polices and strategies
- Organize Corporate Shared Services information management including the digital asset library
- Support the implementation of internal and external communications plans for projects and initiatives as required, including written and visual content development
- Support Wolf’s Sustainability Working Group
Education:
- Must be enrolled in Law or a degree in a related field, at an accredited post secondary institution
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term
- The ability to critically think, problem solve, be creative and work well independently
- Outstanding writing and editing skills including the ability to transform complex information into concise, clear and compelling communications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with SharePoint is an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Gain high level experience with opportunity to take part in meaningful and challenging projects
- Learn from knowledgeable experts and mentors
- Develop meaningful relationships with professionals from across Wolf, including other students
