Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Landscape Hardscaper to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing and constructing outdoor living spaces utilizing a variety of hardscaping materials. You will collaborate with other members of the design team to install detailed plans for outdoor projects such as patios, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, retaining walls, walkways, and driveways.

To be successful as a Landscape Hardscaper, you should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of different hardscaping materials and grades You should be able to clearly communicate with clients, follow instructions closely, and manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to read detailed plans for outdoor projects, such as patios, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, retaining walls, walkways, and driveways.
• Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure plans meet the needs and preferences of the client.
• Utilize a variety of hardscaping materials, such as brick, stone, concrete, and pavers.
• Measure and mark areas for installation.
• Dig trenches and lay foundations for hardscaping projects.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
• Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
• Operate various tools including: measurement, shovels, hammers, drills, sod cutter, rototiller etc.
• Operate large equipment
• Install hardscaping materials, such as brick and stone.
• Shape and cut materials to fit the desired design.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing hardscaping projects.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear.
• Have previous experience in wood working.

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in hardscaping.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of proper safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
