Summary: This is supporting a male individual in his home. Community inclusion, meal prep, assistance with everyday household tasks. Experience with behaviors and de-escalation techniques is an asset
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Rehabilitation and/or related education (preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required
- A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
- Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and medication administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification
- Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and $2,000,000 liability required.
Salary: $17.95-$20.74 and is dependent on education and experience.
