Invigilator (22:188) Job at Northern Lights College

Salary:
Classification 5, $21.80/hr, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.50/hr in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay, for all regular hours worked.
Description:
To assist in invigilation of a variety of exams (which may include read or scribed deliver of exams) on the Dawson Creek campus including marking/grading CAAT exams, executing exam requirements from the examining institution and following invigilation protocol for NLC exams. The individual will use the colleges' database (Colleague) to enter scores from internal assessments.
**Please note that the shifts may occur during the day, evening or on weekends. You will be asked your availability/preference if shortlisted for the interview process.
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12. Experience invigilating in a post-secondary education setting an asset. Ability to invigilate all exams strictly adhering to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and the security of all tests, and completion of necessary documentation for all tests. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and the ability to learn databases is essential. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong record keeping and organizational skills.
