Our company requires a hard working and reliable flag person for several jobs across the GTA.
Flagging duties may include:
- Installing and removal of traffic delineations
- Direct the safe flow of public and construction traffic.
- Ensure the safety & security of field personnel and the public.
- Provide motorists with simple directions, explaining hazards
- During down times may be required to do some site clean-up, other labourer duties as required
- Training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.
- Valid G Driver’s License
- With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- May be required to work on all shifts: days, evenings and nights which may include rotational shifts
- Will be required to be on call and accept work shifts when the need arises
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
