New Leaf Psychology Centre is a private practice located at 400 Main Street East, Suite 210, in Milton, Ontario, which is easily accessible from Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Guelph. Associates with New Leaf Psychology Centre provide assessment and treatment services across the lifespan, from early childhood through to adulthood. Treatment services are offered in individual, family, couple, and group formats. Treatment services also include executive functioning skills coaching for children, teens and adults. Assessment services include psychoeducational, developmental, giftedness, psychological, and rehabilitation (MVA/WSIB) assessments. In the provision of assessment, we work with family, physicians, and schools, in Halton, Peel, Wellington, and Hamilton, to ensure comprehensive and thorough reports, with detailed recommendations.
New Leaf Psychology Centre values all staff members and provides a warm and inviting working environment. Associates at the practice meet regularly for continued education. Regular training, supervision, and consultation are provided to our team of education consultants / executive functioning skills coaches.

Position Description:
New Leaf Psychology Centre is seeking part-time education consultants /executive functioning skills coaches to meet the needs of the growing community.
As an educational consultant at New Leaf Psychology Centre you will provide executive functioning skills coaching to children, teens and/or adults (depending on your training). During such coaching sessions you will also teach self-advocacy, bolster self-confidence, and offer tools and strategies to help improve focus, healthy habits and positive attitudes. You will also provide social emotional and mindfulness skills training as appropriate. You will work with your clients to establish attainable goals, and track progress towards those goals. In this process you will identify learning gaps and strategies to address these gaps. You will develop and implement lesson plans to teach executive functioning skills, keeping detailed notes to track progress. In your role you will become a trusted mentor to children where they can discuss issues related to home and school. You will also support parents to help their children with time management and organization skills.
Successful candidates will have the freedom to develop a part-time coaching practice with flexible hours and caseload. The practice has a consistent, established, and continuously growing referral flow. Comprehensive administrative support and electronic record keeping, scheduling, and billing are provided. Qualifications:
Successful candidates will either possess a Master’s degree in teaching, psychology, or equivalent (M.Ed., M.A.). Preference will be given to applicants with 2+ years of teaching experience, and those who have experience working with different age groups. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable about Independent Education Plans and typical modifications and accommodations for different learning challenges.
