ECE Teacher
Inspire Montessori School is a Montessori school in Markham. We are currently seeking experienced ECE teachers for the toddler class. The certified teachers must have experience in working with Pre-Casa (ages 15 months to 2.5) or Casa (ages 2.5yrs old to 6 yrs old) and be prepared to work alongside the Head Teacher in a supportive team-teaching Montessori environment. Inspire Montessori will sponsor the successful candidate to take a Montessori certificate program (online).

We are looking for candidates who will help contribute to a warm and nurturing environment. We are hiring for permanent full-time and part-time Registered Early Childhood Educators.

Qualification:

• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators- For ECE Position
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children between toddler and School Age
• Knowledgeable and experienced with Montessori programming- For the Montessori ECE position
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Keep current with early childhood practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Valid Standard First Aid/CPR training certification
• Vulnerable sector check to be obtain upon hire
• Up to date health and immunization records
• Upon hire, you will be required to have current Standard Level C-First Aid/CPR, 2 Step TB, Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
• To share responsibilities for planning, assessing, organizing and delivering activities and creating customized learning experiences for a group of children.
• Able to speak French is an asset
• Able to teach Piano is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
