We currently have a position available for an Dock Worker in our Grande Prairie location. Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday 3:00am to 11:30am
Willy’s Trucking offers daily and weekly freight services north of HWY 16 in Alberta and B.C. We build relationships with businesses that have local decision making and we specialize in mid/last mile delivery. Our commitment to you is to always deliver on time and offer competitive pricing.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe loading and unloading of freight from transport trucks. This includes handling pipes (loading & offloading decks)
- Inspect shipments for proper quantity and damaged products. Report damages to the dock supervisor.
- Handle all shipments efficiently and effectively.
- Verify manifests and report any errors.
- Provide cross dock assistance to drivers.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Have a positive attitude, be willing to learn and be able to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Have excellent time management and organization skills.
- Be able to work independently and take direction as needed.
- Maintaining the yard.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class 5 License
- Must know how to operate a loader and experience handling pipes (loading & offloading decks)
- 1 – 2 years warehouse experience, preferred
- Shipping & receiving experience
- Must have Forklift / Loader experience
- Exceptional customer service
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
