Developmental Service Worker Job at Sonshine Families
You will work in a specialized Medical Staff Assisted Foster Home. Providing care with the foster parents or support staff, for 2-4 children/adults with developmental disabilities and complex care medical needs.
Care needs are ng/g-tube feeding, seizure monitoring,autism beh. supports, mobility support (wheelchairs) for physical disabilities related to cerebral palsy, and other physical disabilities. Feeding, changing, bathing, dressing, toiletting support and care.
Medication administration, suctioning, CPAP machine
Light housekeeping, and meal prep.
Support for home schooling and community intergration and outtings.
Implentation of pt and ot and any other therapy plans, daily electronic logs, M.A.R. and other documentation as required.
Home is pet friendly(a small dog and cat)
Must be a team player and understand how to work in a foster home environment.
Driver's License preferred and a definite asset

Licence/Certification:
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
