Position Title: Grassroots Lead Coaches (U8-U12) - Various
Reporting Line: Director of Soccer
Term: Commencing September/October 2022

OVERVIEW
Brampton SC is a National Licensed Soccer Club in Canada dedicated to the
development of well-balanced, successful players at the recreation, competitive and
high-performance level.
The Club is seeking experienced Development Coaches to lead age groups within our
high successful Competitive Grassroots Program (U8-U12) for the 2022/23 Season.
POSITION(S) SUMMARY
a) Fundamentals (U7/U8) Lead Coaches - The Brampton SC has opportunities
for Coaches interested in leading our Teams in the Fundamentals Stage of
Development. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best young
talent in Brampton and provide initial guidance to these players as they embark
on the start of their Development pathway!
b) Learn to Train (U9/U10/U11/U12) Lead Coaches - The Brampton SC has
opportunities for Coaches interested in leading our Teams in the Learn to Train
Stage of Development. This is a great opportunity to work with established
players within the Club and build your own successful Team program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Training Sessions in accordance with BSC Development Curriculum
- Lead Games in accordance with BSC Game Model
- Create fun, positive and learning environment for all participants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children and young adults is preferred
- Previous soccer experience (playing/coaching) is considered an asset.
- Grassroots coaching certifications required:
o Fundamentals or Learn to Train Certificate
o Making Ethical Decisions Module
o Making Headway Online Module
o Respect in Soccer Certificate
- Independent transportation (preferred)
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
All positions are required to be available to work Monday – Thursday evenings
and Saturday or Sunday mornings.
- Part time (4-10 hours/week)
Coach development training will be provided by BSC Technical Staff.
We have a limited number of opportunities.
For experience candidates, multiple roles may be offered.
