What you’ll do:
- Work within the EBS delivery team to define acceptance criteria, story mapping, and the test strategy for all customer deliverables
- Work closely with Application Specialists, Developers and integration Specialists to define and create test plans and/or test cases that effectively uncover software defects as per Quality Assurance established standards.
- Perform integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Design and execute manual test cases.
- Work with clients to develop System Integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios
- Assist clients during deliverables SIT and UAT
- Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables
- Actively participate in team project planning, design discussions, and agile/project meetings.
- Help the delivery manager and architect by providing time estimates related to the QA testing
- Develop and enhance the testing methodology, standards and test checklists.
Your qualifications:
- Undergraduate diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 2 to 5+ years of significant experience in software quality.
- Experience with APIs, SOAP and RESTful services testing
- Experience in testing applications, including but not limited to Order Management Systems, warehousing systems and inventory management systems
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of SDLC (software development lifecycle) in either waterfall or Agile.
- Knowledge of tools like SoapUI or Postman and features (Assertion, Property transfer, parameterization, etc.)
- Strong foundation in testing planning.
- Knowledge of file transfer protocols and tools like FileZilla
- Knowledge and experience writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 or other programming languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of load/stress testing is a plus
- Experience with Jira is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Ability to work with internal and external customers
- Logical and analytical person.
- Self-motivated and attentive to detail.
- Creative to find new solutions and learning on the fly
- Flexible in facilitating change or adapting to changing needs
- Located in the Greater Toronto area.
