Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting wages for apprentices: $20 - $34 - depending on experience and technical training.

Experience:

• 3rd year Apprentice: 3 years of plumbing experience and successful completion of level 2 plumbing technical training.

• 4th year Apprentice: 4 years of plumbing experience and successful completion of level 3 plumbing technical training.

Typical job duties/tasks of Plumbing Apprentices:

• Build and assemble plumbing and mechanical installations in commercial, institutional, and residential environment
• Operate workshop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Handle and store plumbing supplies and materials
• Read and interpret installation drawings

Job requirements of Plumbing Apprentices

• Work in accordance with site safety requirements.
• Communicate with colleagues, trades and sub-trades in a professional manor.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Contribute to site/company culture by completing job duties with a positive attitude.
